In the 2017 ranking of National Hockey League teams, the Philadelphia Flyers dropped a spot on this year's list of the 31 teams' valuations.
Two Canadian teams changed places between Nos. 2 and 3, but the highest-valued team remained the same from 2016's Forbes ranking, an update of which was released Tuesday.
The Flyers actually saw the value rise 3 percent to $740 million from $720 million, but other teams – like the Los Angeles Kings – saw an even bigger boost, pushing them up the rankings.
