Mayor Nutter Wants You in His Flyers Seats

Philly leader giving away seats to Stanley Cup Final

Mayor Michael Nutter is giving away tickets again, but instead of baseball tickets, this time Philly’s leader is shilling out hockey tix.

Six lucky Flyers fans will win a free pair of tickets to see the Fly Guys take on the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Final.

Nutter is giving away tickets to Games 3 and 4 at the Wachovia Center as well as Game 6 (if necessary). And, you don't need to live in Philly to enter.

“Reaching the Stanley Cup Finals is a great honor for the Flyers and for Philadelphia. I want to invite all Philadelphians to join with me in cheering the Flyers to victory,” said Nutter.

This isn’t the first time Nutter has raffled off tickets. He gave away Phillies playoff tickets during their 2008 and 2009 World Series runs.

Think you’re up to the sitting in Nutter’s seats? Just email the correct answer to this question by 5 p.m. Monday.

“Which former Flyer holds the NHL record for the most power play goals in a single season?”

And, to save you time -- here is the answer.

The winners will be announced June 1.

To enter, email mayorsbox@phila.gov with the answer in the subject line and include your name, address and telephone number in the email body.
