Retired Football Player Likes Hockey Team You Don’t

As a colleague of mine said last night, "Apparently Mike Vick is a Penguins fan. That won't go over too well here."

"haha oh boy," said another.

My question to you, Philadelphia sports fan, is this: do you remotely care at all what hockey team a guy who played a couple of seasons for the Eagles years ago roots for? Especially given the fact that he played out the final days of his career in Pittsburgh?

I, for one, do not.

The Penguins advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals on Thursday night in an overtime thriller that made many Philadelphians sad. It made Mike Vick happy though.
