The Eagles got a big win on Monday night, but they didn’t come out completely healthy.
Starting WILL linebacker Mychal Kendricks fractured his nose and also has a quad contusion. Head coach Doug Pederson wasn’t exactly sure how Kendricks broke his nose.
“He’ll be fine,” Pederson said. “He should be OK for this weekend’s game against Pittsburgh.”
Starting tight end Zach Ertz (ribs) and starting cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring) both sat out Monday’s game. On Tuesday, Pederson said there’s no change with either.
“Both of those guys are healing fine, but we’ll still monitor them and see where we’re at game day,” Pederson said.
Pederson also said Isaac Seumalo is still dealing with a pec strain despite the fact that Seumalo wasn’t listed on the team’s injury report this week. The rookie third-rounder has been inactive for the first two weeks of the season.

News broke on Tuesday morning that right tackle Lane Johnson has finally been suspended pending an appeal. Johnson has an appeal hearing on Oct. 4, which means he’ll be able to play against Pittsburgh, a source confirmed to CSNPhilly.com (see story).
“Until I hear from the league office, Lane’s my starting right tackle,” Pederson said.
When it’s time for Johnson to actually serve his suspension, Pederson said the team will “go back to what we did in training camp.” That means Allen Barbre would slide out to right tackle and be replaced at left guard by Stefen Wisniewski or Seumalo.
