There is perhaps no more ubiquitous phrase in Philadelphia sports over the past few years than Sam Hinkie's "Trust the Process."
Now, Hinkie wasn't the first to say those words, but it was his use that made it a mantra in Philly.
It became something of a rallying cry for Sixers fans during the dark times they've been through over the past few seasons that contained many, many losses.
It's made its way on T-shirts. The Process loyalists even celebrated when a writer for a popular television show got Rob Lowe to say it in an episode.
And now, new Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has uttered the words. Those three beautiful words came out of his mouth after the Eagles' win over the Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 2.
"Trust the process."
