Eagles' Lineman Turns Out to Be Thingamabob on ‘Masked Singer'

Thingamabob revealed on 'The Masked Singer', turns out to be Jordan Mailata originally appeared on NBC Sports Philadelphia

Eagles offensive lineman and noted songbird Jordan Mailata might have a new nickname after Wednesday night.

Thingamabob.

Mailata, the 6-foot-8, 365-pound behemoth was unveiled as the man inside the Thingamabob costume in Wednesday night's episode of "The Masked Singer," where semi-notable people in the world dress up in disguise and sing in front of a massive audience.

It took him a while, but Mailata did eventually manage to take his mask off after a lengthy struggle to reveal to the world that he has the voice of a god.

It shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Mailata was the man behind the Thingamabob mask. Our own Adam Hermann put together an extensive analysis on the context clues suggesting that Thingamabob was actually Mailata, and, wouldn't you know it, he was spot on.

Plus, after Mailata's performance in Episode 2, the similarities between Mailata and Thingamabob's voices were pretty similar.

What a voice the big man has. Mercy.

When Mailata eventually hangs up the cleats, it seems clear what his next venture should be.

Drop an album, Jordan!
