Watch: T.J. McConnell Dunks at Open Practice, Sixers Go Crazy

Next up for T.J. McConnell: 2017 NBA Dunk Contest.

OK, maybe that's a stretch, but give the guy some props for this slam that brought the house down during the Sixers' open practice at Temple's Liacouras Center on Wednesday night.

The team's reserve point guard is listed at 6-foot-2, but that didn't stop him from throwing down this self oop.

Sixers release details for their 2024 Blue-White scrimmage

• McConnell running off the floor, finger in the air, as if he just hit the winning shot in Game 7 of the Finals.

• His Sixers teammates chasing him down.

• Brett Brown almost getting flattened multiple times by the stampede of Sixers teammates, then appearing to signal that's a wrap on practice.

• Dario Saric celebrating by waving a towel over his head.

Opening night is Wednesday, Oct. 26, vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Should be fun — maybe McConnell will even dunk.
