Jahlil Okafor to Start Against Wizards After Sitting Last Four Games

Not only will Jahlil Okafor play against the Washington Wizards, Brett Brown announced that Okafor will be in the starting lineup for the Sixers.

Okafor has sat out the last four games as a DNP-coach's decision. He has been out of the lineup in favor of centers Joel Embiid and Nerlens Noel, as Brown attempts to navigate his crowded frontcourt rotation.

Embiid's restrictions in back-to-back games created an opportunity for Okafor to get in the game.

Okafor is averaging 10.7 points and 4.8 rebounds this season. He scored 19 points (8 for 11 from the field) with five rebounds as a starter against the Wizards in November.

He will start alongside Ersan Ilyasova, Robert Covington, Nik Stauskas and T.J. McConnell.
