For those who don't know, members of the 2008 Philadelphia Phillies, especially Carlos Ruiz, have a special place in the hearts of Philadelphia sports fans.
In his first trip back to Philadelphia since being traded last season, Carlos Ruiz received a standing ovation both after a video montage was played between innings and before his pinch-hit appearance late in the game. The love didn't go unnoticed.

Chase De Jong, a rookie pitcher for the Mariners, who was 14 when the Phillies won the World Series in '08, was so moved by the gesture from Phillies fans that he sent out the tweet above calling it "one of the coolest things I've ever seen."
