Well, this could be a little awkward.
That is when Edubray Ramos and Asdrubal Cabrera bump into each other for the first time as teammates.
Why might you ask?
The two have some history.
Ramos, currently on the disabled list, will soon see Cabrera again as the Phillies traded for the infielder Friday night.
They'll likely remember each other.

In 2017, the Phillies-Mets regular-season series kicked off with drama when Ramos buzzed a 96-mph fastball well over the head of Cabrera during the eighth inning of a tie game. Cabrera was none too pleased, staring back at Ramos. The benches were warned and then-manager Pete Mackanin was ejected.
Ramos probably had a good memory.
In a September game the season prior, Cabrera walloped a three-run, walk-off homer off Ramos at Citi Field. Cabrera celebrated by flipping his bat in the air with both hands and admiring his work before eventually starting his home run trot.
So was that Ramos pitch on purpose?
Here was a tidbit from Jim Salisbury's story in April 2017:
Through a team translator, Ramos said the pitch "got away" and was not intentional. He said the home run that Cabrera hit last year was "in the past." Asked if Cabrera's celebratory reaction at the time upset him, Ramos admitted, "Yeah, a little, but again that was last year."
Now it's 2018. Cabrera is playing well and has always killed the Phillies. Ramos has a 1.91 ERA and will be a huge boost when healthy again. Something tells me those two will get along just fine when they're helping the same team push for the playoffs.
And maybe even more.
