76ers fans will never forget Marco Belinelli even if his short stint in Philadelphia has come to an end.
That's because he hit the wildly impressive shot in the Confetti Game to send it to overtime.
He said on Thursday that he hopes to be back playing in Philly next season but that remains to be seen.
Either way, Belinelli posted a heartfelt message to his Instagram account:
Philly, I trusted the process since day one and I gave you all my commitment till the last second on the court. You gave me your unconditional love and support. Not the end we wanted, but I am sure that was just the begininnig for the Sixers.
It's time to come back home🇮🇹 for some rest ... thank you Philadelphia, thank you Sixers, this is The Style of Play I Love.
I would love to comeback and play in this jersey
"See you next year," he said to end his exit interview day media session.
