J.T. Realmuto put on the Phillies' red pinstripes for the first since being traded from the Marlins. Realmuto was joined by Phillies general manager Matt Klentak and manager Gabe Kapler during an introductory press conference Tuesday.
Realmuto is an All-Star catcher who hit .277 with 30 doubles, 21 homers, 74 RBIs and an .825 OPS for the Marlins last season. The Phillies traded top pitching prospect Sixto Sanchez, catcher Jorge Alfaro and pitcher Will Stewart to Miami to bring Realmuto to Philadelphia.
