A Philadelphia native, Kyle Lowry is the latest NBA All-Star to hail from the City of Brotherly Love. The 2004 Cardinal Dougherty grad stayed close to home for college, attending Villanova University for two seasons. The 24th overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Lowry started his NBA journey with the Memphis Grizzlies. After a measured start to his career, Lowry was selected to his first All-Star Game in 2015 – a feat that he repeated this past NBA season. With fellow Team USA player DeMar DeRozan by his side, Lowry has led the Toronto Raptors to new heights during his four year stint with the team.
