Jay Ajayi Reportedly Being Sued for post-Super Bowl Antics

Updated: 8:35 p.m.

Eagles running back Jay Ajayi is being sued by the owner of a Los Angeles mansion who claims Ajayi trashed his house, according to a report Monday from TMZ.

However, per TMZ, a representative for Ajayi claims the lawsuit and report are bogus. Ajayi is being charged $25,000 by the owner of the house for damages, according to the report.

Perhaps most troubling about the report is that the owner claims when he confronted Ajayi about the charges, Ajayi "pushed [him] on [his] chest in a menacing and threatening manner."

The report says Ajayi stayed at the 6,000-square-foot L.A. house with a friend for five days after the Eagles won Super Bowl LII and Ajayi was specifically told to not throw parties, but threw at least three anyway.

The owner claims to have charged Ajayi $5,000 for each party and Ajayi reportedly also broke a table, scratched floors and violated the smoking policy .

Ajayi, 24, came to the Eagles in a trade during last season and became a big part of the rotation, rushing for 408 yards on 70 carries in seven regular-season games. This season, after the departure of free agent LeGarrette Blount, Ajayi figures to be an even bigger part of the running back puzzle.

This is the final year of Ajayi's four-year rookie deal.

The report from TMZ did not mention any criminal charges filed against Ajayi.
