Gagne to Fly in Game 4: Report

Team still calling it a game-time decision

The Flyers should get a much needed offensive boost Friday night.

Winger Simon Gagne is expected be on the ice when the Flyers skate for their playoff lives against the Boston Bruins, reported CSN Philly.

Supposedly Gagne had an MRI Friday morning that showed no more damage to the right toe he broke in Game 4 against the Devils, said CSN Philly.

The team wanted to make sure that everything was healing properly after Gagne had two screws inserted into his left toe just two weeks ago, said Philly.com.

The Flyers, though, are still considering Gagne a game-time decision, according to NBC Philadelphia Sports.

The Flyers could use Gagne’s scoring touch. After averaging three goals a game against New Jersey in the first round, the Fly Guys have only scored 2.33 goals per game against Boston.

How much ice time Gagne will see wasn’t clear but his presence on the ice could help boost the Flyers as they face elimination down 3-0 in the semi finals.
