Source: Travis Konecny Suffers Left Knee and Ankle Sprain

Travis Konecny left Monday night's game against the St. Louis Blues and did not return, Flyers general manager Ron Hextall said. Hextall said there will be an update Tuesday.

Konecny suffered a left knee and ankle sprain, a source told CSNPhilly.com's Tim Panaccio. Konecny was hit hard into the boards during the second period and got up favoring his left shoulder, however the shoulder is fine, the source said.

Konecny's last shift came at 11:06 of the second period. He finished the game with one shot on goal in 8:13. It was his first game back in the lineup after sitting out the previous two games as a healthy scratch.

In 50 games in his rookie season, the 19-year-old has seven goals and 15 assists.
