Now, this is pretty great.
Gritty, typically known for some of his more rowdy antics, like trolling on social media, yelling at opposing teams' fans and streaking at Lincoln Financial Field, took some time out of his vacation on Tuesday to make a young man's day.
The beloved furry mascot stopped by 7-year-old Caiden O'Rourke's hospital room to surprise him after the young fan had just received a custom Gritty prosthetic leg. Imagine the fan's surprise when the real Gritty showed up at his door.
Luckily, it was caught all on video and shared on social media. Check out the heartwarming video above.
O'Rourke's face says it all. Not only this, Gritty made sure to bring along some extra gifts, including a custom jersey for the young fan with his name on it.
It's pretty awesome to see how excited this fan is to see the furry monster, who was definitely a superhero today.
