Bryce Harper took to the Phillie Phanatic in 2019 in ways most didn't expect. The duo built a loving relationship and the Phillies' slugger even incorporated the Phanatic's googly eyes into his cleats and headwear.
That started a trend throughout the ballpark this summer with fans jumping on board, wearing the Phanatic atop their heads whenever possible.
Some weirdo in my office even wore said headband to work. Hi Spence!
That headwear trend will now likely move over to the Wells Fargo Center where Gritty's eyes can be found on headbands. The Flyers tweeted about it on Tuesday and the team store has them available to purchase.

Here's the description from the Wells Fargo Center website: "Steal Gritty's look with the new Gritty headband from Bani Bands! Bani Bands are designed to fit just right and neither slip out of your hair nor squeeze too tight. Bani Bands are simply the best headband for working out, hanging out, playing hard, and looking good!"
$20 well spent, if you ask me.
If bobbleheads are more your speed, a uniform-less Gritty streaking is now available or you can even get a bobble of Gritty and the Phanatic together. It'll cost you though.
