The Eagles off-season is about to get very interesting.

ESPN is reporting that Donovan McNabb and his agent Fletcher Smith met with Andy Reid and Eagles president Joe Banner for several hours last Tuesday.

They reportedly had preliminary talks about a contract extension and cleared the air on McNabb's benching in Baltimore.

McNabb also reportedly wants the Eagles to add more weapons on offense and if that doesn't happen, he may drop his request for a new deal and ask to be traded.

This ESPN report contradicts John Clark’s discussion with Fletcher Smith Sunday night.

He told Clark that he hasn't met with the Eagles and looks forward to discussing Donovan's contract sometime soon.
