Week 10 NFL Power Rankings: Did Win Over Bears Move Eagles Up in NFC?

The Eagles got a 22-14 win over the Bears to get their record to 5-4 before their Week 10 bye.

Were they able to jump up in the NFC power rankings?

1. 49ers (8-0) Last week: 1
No, it wasn't great that they beat the Cardinals by just three points, but the 49ers get the benefit of the doubt. They still got the 28-25 win and keep their No. 1 spot.

2. Saints (7-1) Last week: 2
The Saints were on a bye in Week 9, but they'll come back with a home game against the Falcons and then a road contest in Tampa Bay. They should have a 9-1 record soon enough.

3. Seahawks (7-2) Last week: 5
Seattle probably shouldn't have needed an overtime period to take down the Bucs, 40-34, but they got it done and the next two teams on the list lost in Week 9.

4. Packers (7-2) Last week: 3
Strange 26-11 loss for the Packers to the Chargers. It's even harder because of a couple tough games coming. They host the Panthers this week and then travel to San Francisco after the bye to face the 49ers.

5. Vikings (6-3) Last week: 4
A three-point loss against the Chiefs wouldn't have been bad, but Patrick Mahomes wasn't playing. And the Vikings had a late lead and let the Chiefs kick a field goal to tie it and then another to win it with no time left in regulation.

6. Rams (5-3) Last week: 6
No movement for the Rams on their bye week. But they have plenty of work to do to catch the Seahawks and 49ers in the NFC West.

7. Cowboys (5-3) Last week: 7
After a brief scare, the Cowboys pulled away from the Giants for a 37-18 win on Monday Night Football. Big home test against the Vikings this week.

8. Eagles (5-4) Last week: 8
The Eagles got a win over the reeling Bears, but it's not enough to leapfrog any of the teams ahead of them, especially not the Cowboys, who beat them soundly a few weeks ago.

9. Panthers (5-3) Last week: 9
A solid 10-point win for the Panthers over the Titans. When Cam Newton went down, I thought the Panthers were doomed, but Kyle Allen has been getting it done. It's his team now. At Green Bay for a tough one this week.

10. Cardinals (3-5-1) Last week: 12
I've been impressed with the Cardinals this year and a three-point loss to the 49ers didn't change that. Two road games before a Week 12 bye week.

11. Lions (3-4-1) Last week: 10
The Lions kind of are what I thought they were: an average team. Their 31-24 loss to the Raiders isn't shocking. I have them ahead of the Bears right now, but those two teams play each other this week to figure it out.

12. Bears (3-5) Last week: 11
Losing to the Eagles wouldn't have been so bad, but it was their fourth straight loss. Their biggest problem is that they put all their eggs in the Mitchell Trubisky basket and he doesn't look good.

13. Buccaneers (2-6) Last week: 13
They played the Seahawks tight, but I still can't put them above the Bears. A winnable game against Arizona this weekend.

14. Giants (2-7) Last week: 14
They played the Cowboys tight last week for a bit, but then remembered they're not supposed to be very good. A "road game" against the Jets this weekend. That has to be weird. A road game in your own stadium.

15. Falcons (1-7) Last week: 15
The Falcons were on a bye last week, but are at New Orleans and at Carolina coming out of it. They're staring at a 1-9 record. Is Dan Quinn really gonna last through the season?

16. Redskins (1-8) Last week: 16
The Redskins can't lose this week. They're on a bye.
