As far as preseason games go, getting a first look at No. 2 overall draft pick Carson Wentz is about as entertaining as an Eagles fan can hope for.
And they got to see him a little earlier than expected after starting up the "We want Wetnz!" chants pretty early on.
Wentz entered the game late in the first half with a chance to run the two-minute drill. He was greeted with a fantastic ovation from the Philadelphia faithful desperate for a stud leader of their football team. It was a nice moment.

He wasn't perfect by any means but he flashed some ability to avoid the rush and step up and make some nice throws. And he certainly looked better than Chase Daniel.
