Some Fans Clear Stadium, Others Dance Shirtless in Seats, as Eagles Opener Delayed by Weather

The Eagles' party at Lincoln Financial Field to celebrate their Super Bowl win and open the 2018 NFL season has been interrupted by Mother Nature.

Severe weather closed in on the Linc ahead of the Eagles' regular-season opener against the Atlanta Falcons and forced kickoff to be pushed back to 9:05 p.m.

A message from the National Weather Service was posted on the videoboard asking everyone to take cover in stadium concourses.

Fans headed for cover just as rain started to fall and lightning began to light up the South Philadelphia sky.
