Social Media Draws Eagles Jason Kelce to Philadelphia Classroom

Apparently all a 6th grade teacher needs these days to get a professional football player to visit her students is an Instagram account.

It took Kelsey Schwarzenbach, who teaches science class at John B. Stetson Charter School in northwest Kensington, about two months to arrange a visit from Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Jason Kelce – a visit that happened thanks to social media.

A group of three students set their sights on getting Kelce, or any Eagles player, to visit the school when Schwarzenbach assigned a "six degrees of separation" project.

In a move made for the 21st century, the sixth graders posted a letter to their social media accounts. Find out what happened next by reading the full story here.
