The NFL's official Twitter account tweeted a straight forward message about their commisioner, Roger Goodell, passing away today at the age of 57.
Here's the initial tweet that was quickly deleted:

The reaction on the Internet was immediate skepticism, assuming a hack, followed by plenty of trolling.
The league quickly let it be known that their account was hacked but not before a few more unauthorized tweets were sent out.
Once that drama was over, the trolling began:
