Miller Lite Fixed Their Free Beer Faux Pas for Eagles-Saints

After we alerted you yesterday that Miller Lite was going to provide a free beer to folks down on Bourbon Street if the Saints defeat the Eagles on Sunday, it seems the big beer company realized they were leaving the best city and fanbase in sports out in the cold.

And thirsty.

But they righted things today by announcing they'd provide a free cold one to fans in Philadelphia if the Eagles defeat the Saints on Sunday.

So, free beer will be had somewhere thanks to the result of the Eagles-Saints game, we just don't know where yet.

Here's the announcement:

While the challenge is on in New Orleans, Miller Lite is all about celebrating the passion football fans have for their teams everywhere. To add to the excitement of Sunday's game, Miller Lite will be covering the first round of celebratory brews at select bars in Philly if the Eagles prevail. Fans must be 21+ to enjoy an ice-cold Miller Lite beer. Limit one per customer, while supplies last.

The specifics on the when/where you can cash in on this promise has not been determined yet. Rest assured, we want free beer in Philly and NOT New Orleans.
