Jalen Mills, Ronald Darby and Other Eagles' Injury Updates

As the Eagles begin their 2019 training camp, they put cornerback Jalen Mills on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.

At the start of practice, Mills was working out with a trainer on a side field.

Notably, cornerback Ronald Darby is not on the PUP. NFL Network reported earlier in the week that it was expected he would be.

There's plenty of other good news for the Eagles. Several players coming back from injuries are practicing: Brandon Brooks, Rodney McLeod, Brandon Brooks.

Mills can be taken off the lists at any point during camp when he's ready to practice. No player who has practiced during training camp can be added to the lists later, so this had to happen now.

Putting players on the list now leaves the option open that any of these players can be added to the reserve/PUP or NFI once the season starts. That would force them to miss the first six games but would save roster spots. For some of these guys, that is just an insurance policy in case there are setbacks.
