Eagles Left Tackle Jason Peters Carted Off With Right Knee Injury

Nearly the entire Eagles team met on the field to wish Jason Peters well as the future Hall of Fame offensive tackle was carted off the field.

The injury certainly didn't look good.

Peters went down early in the third quarter when Washington defensive lineman Ziggy Hood fell on his right leg. Peters was seemingly in a lot of pain as he grasped at his right knee. Trainers brought out an air cast to immobilize the leg.

Fans chanted Peters' name as he was carted off the field.

Peters was officially ruled out for the rest of the game with a right knee injury. That's likely the last the Eagles will say about the injury tonight.

With Peters out, backup Halapoulivaati Vaitai came in at left tackle and Lane Johnson stayed at right tackle. If Peters is out for an extended period of time, it's likely Johnson would flip sides.
