Head coach Doug Pederson said Fletcher Cox is "progressing," but Cox didn't practice Wednesday as the Eagles begin preparing for the Cardinals.

Cox injured his calf against the Giants a couple weeks ago and missed the game Sunday against the Chargers.
The Eagles were actually without both of their starting defensive tackles Wednesday. Tim Jernigan didn't practice because of a left heel contusion but doesn't appear to be in danger of missing this Sunday's game.
When asked if Jernigan is in jeopardy of missing the game, Pederson said, "No. Not at all."
Running back Wendell Smallwood missed Wednesday's practice with a knee injury. Pederson didn't mention him earlier in the day.
The Eagles did get a couple members of their secondary back Wednesday. Jaylen Watkins and Corey Graham returned to practice and were full participants.
Defensive tackle Destiny Vaeao (wrist) also returned to practice as a limited participant. He has missed the last three games.
The Eagles are hoping to get cornerback Ronald Darby (dislocated ankle) back after their Week 6 game in Carolina, but Pederson didn't want to commit. Darby went down in a gruesome injury during the Eagles' Week 1 win in Washington.
After playing the Panthers on Thursday night in Week 6, the Eagles have almost a mini-bye week because they don't play until the next Monday night, at home against Washington.
"That's kind of the target deadline if there is one," Pederson said. "I'm not going to hold it as a hard deadline. I'm not going to put him in a box. These things take time. You saw the replay and you saw the injury. It takes time."
One more non-injury note: The Eagles plan to continue their rotation at left guard. That means Stefen Wisniewski and Chance Warmack will continue to split time.
Against the Chargers, Wisniewski got the bulk of the work (49 snaps), while Warmack rotated in (30 snaps).
"It's really worked out well actually," Pederson said. "Both guys, we don't miss a beat when either guy is in there. Like I said on Monday, Chance's strengths are Wiz's weaknesses and Wiz's strengths are Chance's weaknesses. They really feed off of each other and they don't miss a beat. So we'll continue the same thing."
