Eagles Inactives: Dallas Goedert Is Active; How Much Will He Play?

Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is active for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Now, we'll see if/how much he plays.

Very early in warmups, Goedert ran some routes as team personnel staff watched on. A little later, he got in the route line with the other receivers and tight ends. He has a black compression sleeve on his left calf. He clearly didn't look 100 percent.

Last week, Goedert re-injured his calf during pregame warmups. He came into today listed as questionable.

Here are the Eagles' inactives:

Alshon Jeffery (calf)
Corey Clement (shoulder)
DeSean Jackson (abdomen)
Tim Jernigan (foot)
Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee)
Nate Herbig
Shareef Miller

It's just Week 3, but the Eagles are definitely banged up right now. They're so banged up, Doug Pederson held a walkthrough on Wednesday instead of practice. Clement, Jackson and Jernigan were all ruled out on Friday and Grugier-Hill was listed as doubtful. There's a chance Grugier-Hill makes his return from a training camp MCL injury in five days in Green Bay.

Without Jackson and Jeffery, the Eagles' top receivers are Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins and JJ Arcega-Whiteside, and the team also called Greg Ward up from the practice squad on Saturday.

The Eagles have three quarterbacks active today. Nate Sudfeld is up for the first time this year, but expect Josh McCown to still be the backup.

Alex Ellis, who was called up earlier in the week, is active. He played minimally in Week 1 also.

Daeshon Hall, who had an impressive preseason, is active for the first time this season. The Eagles have just three defensive tackles, but have five defensive ends active.

Matt Pryor is also active for the first time this season.

Lions inactives: QB Jeff Driskel, WR Travis Fulgham, CB Amani Oruwariye, RB Paul Perkins, G Beau Benz
