Eagles Fans Seeing Green After Doug Pederson Wins Golf Wager With Sean Payton

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and New Orleans Saints head coach Doug Pederson "got their competitive juices flowing" when they golfed together around the NFL Owners meetings back in March.

The two, talking on a conference call to promote appearances at a celebrity golf outing, shared details of a couple of wagers they made and you'll be able to see the results of Doug Pederson winning when the Eagles travel to New Orleans to take on the Saints in November. The Eagles will wear their home greens while on the road thanks to Doug's superior golf game.

Doug winning that one likely led to some awkward conversations between Payton and his people.

"Well, how am I gonna explain this? We're just gonna wear color-rush white or something. ... But it made it a little bit more fun," Payton told the conference call, via ESPN's Mike Triplett.

Hopefully it's the first of many wins for Doug over Payton in 2018. Maybe next time he can up the ante a little more and bet that the Eagles will wear THE KELLY GREEN JERSEYS. Buck up and bet something big, Doug.
