The sixth-seeded Eagles took down the Bears in Chicago last weekend, so their season continues against the NFC's top seed in New Orleans on Sunday.
The Saints smoked the Eagles, 48-7, in their last meeting, so the Eagles are hungry for revenge and a chance to head back to the NFC Championship Game.

Carl Cheffers is the referee. The Eagles are 5-7 all-time when Cheffers is the ref. The Saints are 11-1 with Cheffers as the referee. He was the ref for the blowout in November.
Time for revenge
The Eagles would have probably had enough motivation in this game even if it wasn't against the team that kicked their butts in November. But this Saints team absolutely kicked their butts. They won 48-7; it was the biggest loss any defending Super Bowl champion has ever suffered. Doug Pederson said he didn't think the Saints ran up the score in that game, but they obviously did. The bigger question is whether or not it bothered the Eagles. It might not have bothered Pederson, but it clearly bothered some players in that locker room. They wanted another crack at the Saints and now they got it.
A different team
The Eagles have said it plenty this week. They're a different team than the one that lost in the Superdome in November. That's for several different reasons. The most obvious one is at the QB position, where Nick Foles has been really good. But there are other reasons too. Both the offensive line and defensive lines have played better, the secondary has shored up, they've gotten healthy at other areas. Will it be enough?
More Foles magic?
It's undeniable that Foles is playing well right now and there seems to be something special about him. Go ahead and call it Foles Magic or whatever you want. It's hard to quantify, but it's there.
Just listen to Michael Bennett's response when asked if he agreed with Foles that the last Saints loss galvanized the team:
"I am never going to disagree with Nick Foles. The football Gods will look down on me and shun me from success. So whatever Nick says is the truth."
