Eagles' Ugly 1st Half Even Had Doug Pederson a Little Fed Up

Just how bad were the Eagles in the first half of Thursday night's preseason game?

Even Doug Pederson, the even-keeled, fun-loving head coach, seemed pretty peeved.

His team had four turnovers and trailed the Browns, 5-0, at halftime. Nick Foles threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. Matt Jones also coughed up the ball, something he's been known to do in his career.

None of it was pretty.

Pederson expressed his frustration to FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

Here's what Andrews reported after her conversation with Pederson.

He was very candid coming out of the locker room. He said, 'You want to know what the problem is?' He handed me a sheet of paper with all of the offensive mistakes.

When Pederson was asked if Foles would return to the game, he told Andrews: "No. I'm done. I've seen enough."

Pederson sure sounded disappointed and puzzled by his Super Bowl MVP.

The Eagles, who haven't looked sharp, entered Thursday 0-2 in the preseason. Obviously it's the preseason, but Pederson - and probably everyone - would like to see a little more from the defending champs.
