Eagles' Super Bowl, Carson Wentz's MVP Odds Improve After Win Vs. Chargers

Before the Eagles' season opener in Washington, their odds of winning the Super Bowl were 40/1.

Four weeks into the season, their record is 3-1 and their odds have improved to 22/1, tied for 10th-best in the league with the Detroit Lions.

Released Wednesday by Bovada, the odds are significantly shorter than they were on the last update on Sept. 27 (33/1). According to Bovada, the Patriots (5/1) and Packers (15/2) still have the best chance to win Super Bowl LII.

The Eagles' odds of winning the NFC (10/1) and NFC East (10/11) also improved from last week. However, even though the Birds are now favored to win the division, the Cowboys have better odds to win the NFC at 13/2.

Carson Wentz's MVP odds shortened from 33/1 to 16/1 after he beat the Chargers in L.A. last week. He is now tied with Kareem Hunt, Alex Smith and DeShaun Watson for the sixth-best chance to win the coveted award.
