Darius Slay is officially active for today’s game against the Packers.

Slay (calf) popped up on the injury report Thursday and was listed as questionable heading into the weekend. But he’s active and will play against Davante Adams and the Packers.

Last week, Slay was tasked with following DK Metcalf for the entire game. He’ll have another incredibly tough assignment with Adams today.

If Slay can’t stay on the field because of that calf, we might see some Michael Jacquet or Jalen Mills moved to corner in this game.

Here are the Eagles inactives for Sunday:

  • Rudy Ford (hamstring)
  • Quez Watkins (illness)
  • Nate Sudfeld
  • Jason Huntley
  • J.J. Arcega-Whiteside
  • Genard Avery

Ford was ruled out on Friday with that hamstring injury. The Eagles on Saturday announced that Watkins wasn’t traveling with the team because of his illness. He hasn’t been active in recent weeks anyway.

Did the Eagles drop a hint about their plan for next week's draft?

Running back Jordan Howard and DT Raequan Williams are both active for today’s game after being elevated on Saturday. This will be Howard’s first game back with the Eagles. He was cut by the Dolphins and joined the Eagles’ practice squad a couple weeks ago.

With Huntley down, the Eagles still have four running backs today: Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, Howard and Corey Clement. Howard and Sanders had big games in Green Bay in Week 4 last year.

This will be the second career game for Williams, the undrafted defensive tackle from Michigan State. He played 16 defensive snaps in the Dallas game.

Arcega-Whiteside is off the COVID-19 list but he is a healthy scratch for the second time this season.

Avery returned from IR last week but didn’t get a single snap on defense. He won’t even dress on Sunday.

The Eagles are expected to start rookie Jack Driscoll at right tackle today, giving them their 11th different offensive line lineup in 12 games:

LT: Jordan Mailata

LG: Isaac Seumalo

C: Jason Kelce

RG: Jason Peters

RT: Jack Driscoll
