Carson Wentz and His Wife Are Extra Thankful Today: They're Expecting!

Carson Wentz and his wife have something extra special to be thankful for this year.

Wentz and his wife, Madison, are expecting their first child, Wentz announced on Thanksgiving morning.

"What a blessing this child already is and will continue to be to my wife and I," Wentz wrote in an Instagram post. "Family is always the most important and we are so thankful for the family of 6 the Lord has blessed us with! Happy Thanksgiving everybody!"

The two married in July 2018 in a Philadelphia suburb. Wentz has credited his wife for being his support system during tough times.

In March of 2018, we learned that Pennsylvania had seen a clear spike in the amount of babies named Carson in 2017, which seemed to coincide with the quarterback's arrival to Philadelphia in 2016.

There were 301 babies named Carson in Pennsylvania in 2017 and that number has continued to rise. In 2018, there were 454 babies named Carson, making it the 11th most popular male name in the state. In 2015, before Wentz's arrival, the name Carson was the 81st-most popular name.

If baby Wentz ends up being a boy, they might choose to add to that growing number.

Either way, congrats to the Wentz family on its upcoming addition.
