Joel Embiid may not be physically ready for Game 1 of the postseason (see story), but that doesn't mean the big man isn't preparing for a comeback.
Embiid posted a picture to his Instagram story on Tuesday of himself wearing a mask. The All-Star center will likely need to wear a protective mask when he does return to action from an orbital fracture and a concussion.
Whatever requirements Embiid needs to get on the court, the Sixers will be ready to welcome him back with open arms. They will certainly need his 22.9 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.8 blocks per game this season in order to make a playoff run.
In the meantime, as Embiid continues his rehab toward a return, maybe he can get #TTP branded onto that mask.
