The Union have two players going to the MLS All-Star Game.
Rookie left back Keegan Rosenberry and goalkeeper Andre Blake have been voted into the 2016 AT&T MLS All-Star Fan XI.
The MLS All-Star game will take place on Thursday, July 28, where the MLS team will face English Premier League club, Arsenal FC at Avaya Stadium.
Rosenberry, a Harrisburg native and former third-overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, has played every minute this season for the Union and is the first rookie since 2013 to make the All-Star team.
Blake, a frontrunner for Union MVP this season, is 6-6-5 on the year and a regular candidate for MLS Save of the Week. Known as a game-breaking goalkeeper, Blake has 53 saves and three shutouts in 17 starts for the Union.
The only other Union players to make an All-Star appearance are Carlos Valdes and Michael Farfan, who both did it in 2012 -- the game at Talen Energy Stadium. Valdes was appointed by MLS commissioner Don Garber and Farfan was a late coach’s selection to help the MLS side match Chelsea FC’s number of substitutes.
