‘Nobody' Jared Dudley Has No Regrets About Ejection for Shoving Joel Embiid During Nets' Game 4 Loss to Sixers

Jared Dudley - not All-Star D'Angelo Russell or Spencer Dinwiddie or Caris LeVert - has somehow become the most-discussed Nets player.

He's invited the spotlight by calling Ben Simmons an "average" half-court player, being outscored by Simmons 31-0 in Game 3, and getting ejected for a shove on Joel Embiid that started a mini-brawl in Game 4.

Simmons, when asked about Dudley's assessment of his half-court game Thursday, said, "That's coming from Jared Dudley. Come on."

And Embiid, speaking with TNT's Ros-Gold Onwude, said after the Sixers' high-drama 112-108 Game 4 win (see observations) that the 12-year veteran is "a nobody."

"I'm too valuable for my team - that's why I didn't react. … My teammates need me more than they did him, so I just gotta be mature," Embiid said.

Dudley had no regrets about his push of Embiid, which led Jimmy Butler to retaliate and be ejected, forcing the Sixers to play without one of their stars for most of the second half.
