Averaging 18.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game in just over 24 minutes per night, Sixers center Joel Embiid really shouldn't need any help getting to the NBA All-Star Game. It should be a foregone conclusion.
Still, Sixers fans might want to go ahead and make sure anyway. Embiid's dating scene depends on it!
So sayeth The Process on Twitter on Wednesday. You may have forgotten, but back in August 2014, not long after the Sixers made him the No. 3 overall pick in the NBA Draft, Embiid revealed he had been turned down by a female celebrity who told him, "Come back when you're an All-Star." Because who hasn't heard that before?
This is the truth... I was trying to get with this famous girl and she said " Come back when you're a All Star" bruhh pic.twitter.com/CFBnRqnKMA— Joel Embiid (@JoelEmbiid) August 17, 2014

So for every normal guy and gal out there who's been turned down because they weren't famous enough, get out there and vote for Embiid. He's just a funny, down-to-earth dude who deserves a shot.
And we know it's you, Rihanna! When Embiid's name is being called with the starting five in New Orleans this February, you better be sitting courtside to cheer on your man.
Or at least performing at the halftime show.
