Villanova's Ryan Arcidiacono, Daniel Ochefu Land Deals After Going Undrafted

Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu have each signed with NBA teams after going unselected in Thursday's NBA draft.

Villanova coach Jay Wright tweeted on Friday morning, indicating that Arcidiacono has signed with the San Antonio Spurs and Ochefu has signed with the Washington Wizards.

With both 'Nova grads going undrafted, they will likely have to earn a roster spot for their respective franchises through Summer League performances and subsequent training camp if the Spurs/Wizards keep them aboard. Arcidiacono reportedly has a partially guaranteed deal while Ochefu likely has a similar arrangement with the Wizards.

But for now, Arcidiacono and Ochefu's NBA dreams continue to progress ever so slightly. The last time the duo played a meaningful game, Ochefu set the pick to allow Arcidiacono to hit Kris Jenkins for the game-winning shot in the National Championship.

The next time fans can see the duo play will likely be on July 9 in the Las Vegas Summer League. The NBA Summer League, held with various teams in Orlando, Utah and Las Vegas, is an event for mostly first and second-year players who have either just been drafted or are fighting for roster spots. On July 9, the Wizards play the Utah Jazz and the Spurs play the Golden State Warriors in Vegas.
