Sixers Vs. Suns: 3 Storylines to Watch as the Jimmy Butler Experience Comes Home

After an overtime thriller in Charlotte Saturday night, Jimmy Butler returns to the Wells Fargo Center for his fourth game as a Sixer.

It will be the Sixers' 19th game of the season, the most any team has played up until this point.

Here are our three storylines to watch against the Phoenix Suns

Tuning the offense
On paper, the Sixers should have little trouble out-scoring this Suns team, which is currently dead last in points per game at 102.1 and 27th in defensive rating. This is an opportunity for the Sixers to really lock in to their offense, despite the limited playbook as Butler gets integrated.

Ben Simmons said after last game that the coaching staff has been working on adjusting play calls to the new talents of the roster. Brown said they're really looking at where players, and specifically Butler, are most effective at getting their shots and catering plays around that.

Facing the Suns should allow us to see those adjustments.

Eye on Butler and Simmons
One of my favorite parts of watching games since the addition of Butler is keying in on the Sixers' bench, and one of the most obvious things I've noticed is, Butler's interactions with JJ Redick.

3 observations after Sixers lose dramatic, controversial game in Harden's return

Can Sixers avoid the play-in? Taking stock of the race going into home stretch

Redick is constantly talking to Butler, and that was made even more evident when Butler told me after his game-winner Saturday that it was Redick who dared him to call game on that final shot.

Tonight, my focus is on Simmons and Butler, their vocal communication throughout the game and their nonverbals in timeouts. Brown even acknowledged that it's going to be Simmons more than anyone else that will have to make the biggest adjustment. How will he adapt?

Wilson Chandler back in full?
Chandler told me Saturday night that his minutes' restrictions should be lifted by tonight's game. That starting four spot has been a tough one to maintain any level of consistency at this season. Brown has said he really likes what Chandler brings to that position, and being able to fully integrate him into the rotations would be a huge step forward for this Sixers squad.

We've only had the opportunity to see Chandler in limited doses. Will tonight be the night?
