The Sixers on Tuesday morning will continue their preparation for Thursday’s NBA draft by hosting six more prospects at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Among the workout participants is Kentucky point guard Tyler Ulis (see draft profile), a viable option for the Sixers at picks Nos. 24 and 26 late in the first round.
Let’s break down all six players that will be on display:
Tyler Ulis, PG, Kentucky (5-10/149)
Ulis is a playmaking floor general who averaged 7.0 assists per game last season, seventh most in Division I, to go along with a 17.3 scoring average. The 20-year-old played two seasons for the Wildcats. Last season, he posted an impressive 3.6 assist-to-turnover ratio and shot 85.6 percent from the free throw line and 34.4 percent from three-point range. Ulis is expected to go late in the first round or early to middle of the second.
Isaiah Cousins, SG, Oklahoma (6-6/191)
Cousins progressed over his four-year college career, capped by personal bests of 12.6 points per game, 4.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 65 made three-pointers as a senior on one of the top teams in the country. The 22-year-old, who is a likely mid-to-late-second-round pick, shot 45.0 percent from beyond the arc as a junior and 41.1 percent as a senior.
Gary Payton II, PG, Oregon State (6-3/184)
The son of NBA Hall of Famer Gary Payton, Payton II jumps out of the gym and was popularly known for his highlight-reel dunks while at Oregon State. Payton, 23, did it all for the Beavers last season, leading the team in points per game (16.0), rebounding (7.8), assists (5.0) and steals (2.5). Not a great shooter, Payton is expected to go mid-to-late second round.
Guerschon Yabusele, PF, France (6-8/270)
Yabusele is 20 years old and averaged 11.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game overseas last season playing in his home country. He can stretch the floor with his shooting range and is projected to be drafted early in the second round.

Chinanu Onuaku, C, Louisville (6-10/245)
Onuaku played two seasons at Louisville, where he averaged 9.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game as a sophomore. The 19-year-old has a near 7-3 wingspan and made 62 percent of his attempts from the field last season. Onuaku is a projected second-rounder.
Brandon Taylor, SF, Penn State (6-6/225)
Taylor, an undersized forward, is a local product who played his high school ball at Trenton Catholic. Taylor completed four seasons at Penn State, where last year he led the Nittany Lions with 16.3 points per game and 6.5 rebounds. Taylor is expected to go undrafted.
