Sixers to Work Out 6 More Draft Prospects Thursday

The Sixers will hold their fourth pre-draft workout at their practice facility on Thursday morning, taking a look at Isaia Cordinier, Alex Caruso, Daniel Hamilton, Brandon Austin, Rosco Allen and Alex Poythress.

Of the group, Cordinier is projected to be a second-round pick. The others project to be either taken in the late second round or go undrafted.

Cordinier is a 6-5 shooting guard from France. He averaged 10.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists this season for Denain ASC Voltaire.

Hamilton declared for the draft after his sophomore year at Connecticut. A 6-8 shooting guard, he averaged 12.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists for the Huskies last season.

Allen averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists his senior year at Stanford. The 6-9 forward was born in Budapest, Hungary. 

Poythress, a 6-8 forward, nearly doubled his scoring and rebounding from his junior to senior year at Kentucky. He posted 10.2 points and 6.0 rebounds this season. 

Austin entered the draft out of Northwest Florida State, where he averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game during the 2014-15 season. The shooting guard had also attended Providence and Oregon.

Caruso, a 6-5 guard, played four seasons at Texas A&M. He posted 8.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists as a senior.

The Sixers have the first, 24th and 26th picks in the 2016 NBA draft on June 23.
