Sixers Get Some Love From NBA GMs in Annual Survey

The Sixers received some high marks in the 2017-18 NBA.com GM Survey, released Wednesday morning.

The general managers picked the Sixers as the second most-improved team this year behind only the Timberwolves. Minnesota received 69 percent of the votes while the Sixers got 17 percent.

First overall pick Markelle Fultz placed second to Josh Jackson in the category of "which rookie will be the best player in five years?" Ben Simmons was tied for fourth with Lonzo Ball.

Simmons was also voted as the second-most likely player to win Rookie of the Year, receiving 24 percent of the vote compared to 62 percent for Ball, the favorite.

Lastly, JJ Redick was named the second-best player in the NBA at moving without the ball, finishing with 14 percent of the vote and trailing only Warriors guard Klay Thompson.
