There are two ways you can look at Sixers fans putting Sam Hinkie on a billboard after he decided to leave the organization a few weeks ago.
1. It's sad. Just sad. To put a departed GM on a billboard.
2. It's actually pretty good advertising for the NBA Draft Lottery Party on May 17th at Xfinity Live! put on by the folks at the Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast. Because people will talk about Sam Hinkie on a billboard and how sad it is that that's what Philly sports has come to.

In case you're unfamiliar with the Rights to Ricky Sanchez podcast or the Liberty Ballers crew, they are/were among the most staunchly pro-Hinkie groups that exists on the planet. Sometimes it felt like it was tongue-in-cheek support and other times you'd think that some of them may never want to watch basketball again because their Darklord has left the ship.
Either way, we can all get through this together. Use your fellow fans for support and look up to Sam whenever you drive by him on the highway this week.
