Report: Sixers Interested in Former Boston Celtics Point Guard Rajon Rondo

The Sixers are interested in free-agent point guard Rajon Rondo, according to a report.

The 11-year veteran is receiving interest from the Kings, Bulls and Pelicans as well, per ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

Rondo is an elite passer, having led the league in assists three times, including last season in Sacramento. He's also a poor shooter (29 percent from three, 61 percent from the line) and has been known to have attitude problems.

Rondo, 30, spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Celtics and was part of Boston's championship in 2008. After a brief stint with the Mavericks -- which ended poorly -- Rondo spent last year with the Kings. For his career, he's averaged 11 points, 8.7 assists and 1.8 steals per game in 645 NBA contests.
