NBA Notes: Trail Blazers Match Allen Crabbe's Offer Sheet With Nets, Re-sign Meyers Leonard

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Meyers Leonard is staying in Portland and it appears Allen Crabbe is, too.

Leonard signed a contract to remain with the Trail Blazers on Sunday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the forward/center said he was excited to stay in Portland for four more years.

"The future is going to be bright with this team," Leonard said in a statement.

And Crabbe is set to be a part of it.

The Trail Blazers guard went to Twitter on Sunday afternoon to proclaim: "RIP CITY!"

The tweet looked to confirm reports that the Blazers had matched an offer by the Brooklyn Nets for the restricted free agent. The four-year, $75 million offer and Portland's match were first reported by Yahoo Sports.

Crabbe averaged 10.3 points and 2.7 rebounds in 81 games last season, his third with the team. The 6-foot-6 Los Angeles native was acquired in a 2013 draft day trade with Cleveland, which took him with the 31st overall pick out of California.

Heat: Team re-signs Haslem, matches Nets' offer sheet for Tyler Johnson
MIAMI -- Udonis Haslem is coming back for a 14th season in Miami, Tyler Johnson's move to Brooklyn is cancelled and a Heat roster that had plenty of holes a few days ago suddenly seems revamped.

Haslem signed a one-year deal worth $4 million -- significantly more than he originally expected -- on Sunday, the same day that Miami decided to match a $50 million, four-year offer sheet that Johnson received from the Nets. And in the span of a few hours, the Heat filled plenty of roster spots as they continued their offseason transition following the departure of Dwyane Wade to Chicago.

"For over a decade, Udonis has embodied what it means to wear the Miami Heat uniform," Heat President Pat Riley said. "He has been the pillar and constant of this organization, and is a true champion in every sense of the word. We are thrilled that Udonis is back to help impart his leadership and instill the Heat culture with his new teammates."

A person with direct knowledge of the situation confirmed the decision about Johnson, which was first reported by Yahoo Sports, to The Associated Press.

It was a hectic Sunday for the Heat, who struck or completed deals with no fewer than six players. Shooting guard Wayne Ellington ($12 million for two years, second year unguaranteed) and forward James Johnson ($4 million for one year) signed their contracts. And the deal with forward Derrick Williams ($5 million for one year, terms of which were agreed upon late last week) became finalized as well.

Grizzlies: Come to terms on three-year deal with Troy Daniels
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The Memphis Grizzlies have acquired guard Troy Daniels and have agreed to terms with him on a three-year contract, according to tweets from the player and his representatives.

Priority Sports tweeted congratulations to Daniels on his three-year deal. Daniels confirmed in a tweet that "my journey will continue" with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The acquisition was first reported by Yahoo Sports, which said Daniels agreed to terms on a three-year, $10 million contract and came to Memphis in a sign-and-trade with the Charlotte Hornets. Daniels, 24, sent a tweet expressing his gratitude to Charlotte and calling the Hornets organization "first class."

Daniels, a 6-foot-4 guard from VCU, averaged 5.6 points, 1.3 rebounds and 11.1 minutes in 43 games for Charlotte this past season.
