NEW YORK -- The Toronto Raptors say All-Star guard Kyle Lowry will have surgery on his right wrist and hopes to return for the playoffs.
The team says the procedure scheduled for Tuesday will be to remove loose bodies from his wrist.
Lowry hasn't played since returning from the All-Star break. He is second on the team with his average of 22.8 points and leads the Raptors with 6.9 assists per game.
The Raptors, tied for third in the Eastern Conference, have won three straight games. They visit the New York Knicks on Monday.
Knicks: Waive Jennings, look to sign Randle
NEW YORK -- A person with knowledge of the details says the New York Knicks are waiving guard Brandon Jennings and plan to sign former Sixers guard Chasson Randle.
The person spoke to The Associated Press on Monday on the condition of anonymity because the moves were not yet complete.

The plans were first reported by The Vertical.
Jennings has averaged 8.6 points and a team-high 4.9 assists in 58 games, mostly as the backup to Derrick Rose. But the Knicks are again focusing more on the triangle offense, which isn't Jennings' strength.
Charley Rosen, a longtime confidante of Knicks President of Basketball Operations Phil Jackson, wrote Sunday on Fanragsports.com that Jennings "resists the triangle" and is a "profound disappointment" because of his erratic play.
Randle was cut by the Knicks in preseason and went on to play eight games with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Nets: Veteran forward Luis Scola waived
NEW YORK -- The Brooklyn Nets have waived veteran forward Luis Scola.
Scola averaged 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds in 36 games this season, falling out of the rotation as the league-worst Nets focused more on their younger players.
General manager Sean Marks said Monday the Nets felt that Scola "deserved the opportunity to contribute to a playoff contender." Because he was waived by the March 1 deadline, Scola would be eligible to sign with another team and appear on its playoff roster.
Scola has averaged 12 points while playing for five teams in his 10 NBA seasons, and won an Olympic gold medal with Argentina in 2004.
Cavaliers: LeBron questionable tonight vs. Bucks
INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- LeBron James continues to recover from strep throat and is questionable for Cleveland's game against Milwaukee on Monday night.
The superstar didn't play in Saturday's loss to Chicago. James, who is having another MVP-caliber season, has missed four games. He didn't attend the team shootaround Monday morning.
Meanwhile, forward Kyle Korver will likely play against the Bucks after injuring his right knee in the second half against the Bulls. Korver said he feels fortunate that the injury wasn't more serious.
The Cavs are expected to sign free-agent point guard Deron Williams before hosting the Bucks. The former All-Star cleared waivers on Saturday after negotiating a contract buyout last week with Dallas.
Korver believes Williams, who will come off the bench for the defending champions, will be a perfect fit in Cleveland. They played together for three seasons in Utah.
