It's really happening! Dario Saric is in Philadelphia and is scheduled to sign his contract with the Sixers tomorrow, a source told CSNPhilly.com's Jessica Camerato.
CSNPhilly.com's John "Johnny Airport" Clark caught up with Saric just moments after he stepped off the airplane at Philadelphia International Airport and you can watch the footage above.
Saric was immediately hounded by reporters and autograph seekers alike but also seemed genuinely happy to be in town.
Clark asked Saric why he gave up more guaranteed money in the short term to leave Turkey and come play in Philadelphia on a rookie scale.
"My word is the most important thing," Saric said, apparently referring to a promise he made to the Sixers when they drafted him.
Hopefully we'll get to hear more on the Croatian's thoughts on Philadelphia after he inks his deal and makes it all official on Friday.
For now, it's just nice to have the big man in town.
