Local School Makes Pitch to LeBron James … Sort of

Don't expect the LeBron James-to-Philly fun slowing down anytime soon.

Even a local private school got in on the party Wednesday night.

Wait, a school?

Yes, that's because the buzz is James was in the Philadelphia area over the All-Star break visiting schools for his son, which, of course, had Sixers fans astir. The four-time MVP has a player option on his contract for next season, so the Delaware Valley is going gaga over the possibility of "King James" bringing his throne to "The Process."

"I've told this to a few other people, and I have no problem saying this, my brother lives in the Philadelphia area and he told me that LeBron, last week through a superintendent, was in the area checking out some private schools during the All-Star break," Sixers color commentator Alaa Abdelnaby said on Tuesday's edition of Philly Sports Talk.

Malvern Preparatory School took the cue and made its push for James by tweeting out a picture of what clearly appears to be a billboard fashioned in Adobe Photoshop, playing off the actual billboards placed in Cleveland by a Philly-based company.
